This policy explains how Wakehive (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and shares information when you visit wakehive.com or rent a boat from us.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: name, email, phone number, rental dates, lake, boat type, group size and any notes you add to a booking request.
- Rental information: driver's license details and payment information collected at the dock or through our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers.
- Automatic information: if you accept analytics cookies, we and our partners (Google Analytics, Meta) collect device, browser and usage data such as pages viewed and referring sites.
How we use information
- To confirm, manage and support your reservation.
- To contact you about your booking, weather changes or safety notices.
- To meet legal duties, including Utah boating and tax rules.
- With your consent, to measure site traffic and show relevant ads.
Cookies and advertising
Analytics and advertising cookies load only after you click “Accept” in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie Settings” in the site footer. You can also opt out of personalized ads through Google Ad Settings and Meta Ad Preferences.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business — payment processors, booking and email tools, marina partners and analytics providers — and when the law requires it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the Utah Consumer Privacy Act, you may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or opt out of targeted advertising. Email jasonjimmy@wakehive.com and we will respond within 45 days.
Data retention and security
We keep booking records for as long as needed for the rental and for tax and legal purposes, then delete them. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your data.
Children
Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
